For over 20 years, Philadelphia VIP has partnered with The Reliable Companies for comprehensive legal support and document production solutions that enhance the delivery of its pro bono services. Most recently, VIP has leveraged Reliable’s document management expertise and technology resources to scan, store and archive its vast array of client files and business records. With Reliable’s help, VIP gains the time savings and simplicity of a “paperless” environment, enabling it to improve information flow and ultimately better serve Philadelphians in need.
“Reliable’s commitment to the community has always been important to everyone at our company. We work hard to build and strengthen relationships with community partners to make a difference. As a former VIP board member, I saw first-hand how the dedicated staff and thousands of volunteer attorneys truly made an impact on people’s lives. Reliable is delighted to lend our expertise and financial support to such a great organization,” said Michael Trudgeon, Chief Executive Officer of Reliable.
For VIP, the electronic document management system created by Reliable is paying dividends where it matters most: improved client service. "By donating the services and expertise needed to digitize the hundreds of case files that VIP closes each year, Reliable helps save us valuable time and resources,” explains Elaine Petrossian, Director of Administration for VIP. “Reducing the need to process and store records enables us to maximize our efforts and attention on serving our volunteer lawyers and their clients."
“The services Reliable provides for VIP are a real difference maker,” said Mark Levy, VIP Board President. "We thank Reliable for their commitment to VIP and commend them on their culture which embraces a strong commitment to pro bono services that help strengthen the community in which we live and work."
Philadelphia VIP appreciates The Reliable Companies considerable and continuous support of our work to achieve access to justice for all.

Philadelphia VIP has partnered with PNC for almost a decade to serve low-income Philadelphia homeowners facing foreclosure, financial ruin and potential homelessness. “PNC and the PNC Foundation are committed to supporting Philadelphia VIP and their focus on foreclosure prevention. The organization is an established national leader dedicated to reducing the effects of the housing crisis and we share in Philadelphia VIP’s commitment to helping the citizens of Philadelphia preserve their homes,” said Nelson Acevedo, Assistant Vice President & Community Consultant for PNC Community Development Banking.
In April 2009, PNC awarded VIP a $10,000 grant to recruit and train volunteer attorneys to participate in the Philadelphia Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Program. Since then, VIP has received annual grants from PNC that help VIP say YES to clients at risk of homelessness.
“My volunteer and Board member service to VIP,” said Michael G. Balent, the Chief Counsel of PNC Reality Services, “has been without question one of my most rewarding professional and personal experiences… VIP’s unparalleled commitment to serving low income Philadelphians in need of legal assistance and to providing its volunteer lawyers with the resources needed to successfully complete their assignment is second to none. Philly VIP has been and will continue to be a leader in providing pro bono legal assistance to many low income Philadelphians.”
Thanks to PNC's dedication to pro bono work and their true spirit of service and volunteerism to low-income homeowners in Philadelphia, we are making a difference in our community. Philadelphia VIP appreciates PNC’s considerable and continuous support of our work to achieve access to justice for all.
