Client currently resides in the property owned by her deceased grandparents. Client’s grandfather died in April 1984, leaving client’s grandmother as the sole owner of the property. Client’s grandmother then died intestate in December 2006, leaving client and client’s sister as her only heirs. Client needs assistance in probating her grandmother’s estate in order to obtain legal title to the property as soon as possible. Linebarger, the law firm collecting the back taxes, has obtained a default judgment but is willing not to schedule a Sheriff’s sale until at least the end of November, to give client time to enter into a low-income payment plan.
