Client seeks assistance with a collections matter set for hearing in Municipal Court on September 17, 2026, at 9:00 am. Client is being sued by debt-buyer, Velocity Investments, for $7458.55, resulting from a credit account Client opened a few years ago, which she became unable to pay on in December of 2025 due to reduced hours at work. Client would like to dispute the debt-buyer’s claim; however, she is amenable to an affordable payment, if necessary. Client is not judgment proof. A volunteer is needed to represent the client in this matter.
