A client needs assistance with an eviction hearing scheduled for Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 8:30 AM in Municipal Court. The client alleges that this eviction suit was brought against him in retaliation to a suit he brought against the landlord for negligence after he was injured due to a collapsed stair in his apartment. Landlord’s complaint alleges Client owes back rent from April and May; however, Client has proof of payment. Client would like the case to be dismissed and to remain in the apartment.
