Client seeks representation in an auto accident matter scheduled for the September 2026 trial pool. Client was driving northbound through a four-way intersection when co-defendant, traveling southbound, struck client’s vehicle while attempting to make a left turn. Co-defendant’s vehicle then collided with the plaintiff’s car, which was stopped at the red light of the street co-defendant was attempting to enter. Client’s vehicle did not come into contact with plaintiff’s vehicle. Client was uninsured at the time of the accident. Plaintiff sued client in the Court of Common Pleas, and client was served December 3, 2024. Client has not yet filed an answer, and she has not received a 10-day notice of default. Co-defendant filed a crossclaim against client as well. A settlement conference was held on May 28, 2026, and a pre-trial conference was held on July 9, 2026. Conflict Letters are due August 24, 2026, and jury selection may begin on or after September 3, 2026. A volunteer is needed to help client defend the lawsuit and draft a response to plaintiff’s complaint. Plaintiff is represented by counsel. Co-defendant was insured at the time of the accident by State Farm and is represented by a State Farm attorney.
