Client would like assistance probating his mother’s estate to obtain title to his home. Mother passed away intestate in December 2021, leaving client as her only heir. Client has lived in his home for at least seven years. Property is subject to delinquent real estate taxes and is in need of serious repairs, however client is diligently working on both. Client is very anxious about his home being taken from him due to a traumatic experience. A volunteer is needed to help client probate his mother’s estate, including preparing and executing a new deed transferring title to client and filing the inheritance tax return.
