On November 9, 2025, Lee Zimmerman—one of VIP’s longtime volunteers, advocates, and friends—tragically passed away. In his memory and in support of VIP, Lee’s friends and colleagues inaugurated the Lee Zimmerman Memorial Fund at our 45th Anniversary Gala on September 26, 2026.
The Fund is intended to add vitality and longevity to the goals that Lee was most passionate about—in particular, bold yet sustainable program growth. Lee was a firm believer in VIP’s potential to serve more small businesses and to enlist more volunteers to preserve family wealth via estate planning.
