Client is seeking title to her home which is currently in her deceased grandfather’s name. Client has lived in this house for her entire life and is now raising her daughter there. Her grandfather died testate in 2025, leaving the client the house in his will and naming her as executor. Client has already opened her grandfather’s estate and has obtained Letters Testamentary. VIP has assisted the client with completing a Tangled Title Fund application to cover the expected transfer taxes due to a mortgage on the property. A volunteer is needed to prepare a deed putting title in client’s name and to help her execute it.
