Client seeks assistance with getting title to her home. She purchased the home in 1988 using proceeds from an auto accident lawsuit that she filed on behalf of her son. The money from the settlement was put in trust for client’s son, who was a minor at the time. Because client used money from the trust to purchase the home, she took title of the home as a Trustee. Client’s son is now 46 years old and is willing to transfer the property to client. A volunteer is needed to draft a deed that dissolves the trust and transfers title to client.
