Client is seeking title to her home which is title in her deceased husband’s name. Her husband died in 2021, leaving client and their son as his only heirs. Client has already opened her husband’s estate and has letters of administration. Client’s son is willing to transfer his interest in the property to her. There is a mortgage for the property, which client has been making monthly payments towards. Because of the mortgage, PA transfer taxes will be due. A volunteer is needed to prepare a deed putting title in client’s name and help her execute it.
