Client requires assistance probating his late wife’s estate to obtain title to his home. Wife passed away intestate on April 9, 2026. Wife had three adult children from a previous marriage who all want Client to have title to the home. VIP has assisted Client with completing an application to the Tangled Title Fund to cover the costs associated with probate. A volunteer is needed to help Client probate his wife’s estate, including preparing and executing a new deed transferring title to Client, and filing the inheritance tax return.
