A volunteer is urgently needed to represent client in a slip-and-fall matter in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. The incident occurred outside of her residence in August 2024. Client lives in the home of her deceased husband and, in the interim between the alleged incident and service of the lawsuit, became the record owner of the property through the probate process. As a result, client, her deceased husband, and their daughter – the administrator of the estate – are listed as co-defendants in the complaint. Client is disabled from a stroke that has rendered her nonverbal and bed bound. All communication and organization are therefore through client’s daughter who has Power of Attorney. A volunteer is needed to assist in responding to the slip-and-fall complaint and defending the client in the case.
