Private Landlord/Tenant – Client is Black-owned, woman-owned hair salon in Northern Liberties. Client has been a long-term tenant in a commercial property, having leased the property since 2009. Client recently received a letter that client would be responsible for back rent at the rate of a 4% increase starting in 2015, in addition, client would be responsible for cost sharing of taxes and insurance.
