Client is the victim of a fraudulent deed transfer that has resulted in him loosing title to his childhood home. Client originally received title to the property in 2022 when is father passed away intestate. In October 2025, Client agreed to sell the home to a real estate developer; however, Client didn’t realize until after he signed the deed that the real estate developer had lowered the offer price by more than half without Client’s assent. To date, Client remains in the home but has not received any payment for the sale of the home. Client reports that representatives of the developer have shown up to the property repeatedly but have not taken any other action to remove him, to his knowledge. A volunteer is needed to assist Client with filing a quiet title action to restore sole ownership of his home.
