Thousands of Philly residents live in homes that are legally owned by a deceased person. Volunteer lawyers can help these residents become legal homeowners by taking a VIP pro bono case. No real estate experience is required—we will train and support you.
Join VIP on Thursday, November 19 for an introductory tangled title training for lawyers and paralegals. The training, led by Supervising Attorney Mike Jones, will cover:
Attendees will leave the training feeling equipped to handle both our limited-representation deed transfer cases and our longer-term probate cases.
This hybrid training will be held at VIP’s Center City office with an option to attend virtually. Coffee and donuts will be provided. The training is open to PA-licensed attorneys and paralegals.
Please register below and email Mike Jones with questions or to take a VIP tangled title case.
This work is made possible with funding from the City of Philadelphia’s Division of Housing and Community Development.
